So I finally acquired the money to buy myself a Edwards RV-148. I emailed Ishibashi about it and it turns out Edwards guitars has discontinued the RV model. Now I'm kinda pissed because now I can't get the exact guitar I wanted.

Now my question is, are the Jackson Star guitars worth it? I am aware that they have a few models that are not available where I live (A KV with EMG Pick-ups, a RR with two EMG Pick-ups, and a few more) but are they of better quality than the models sold in the U.S?

For example, the Jackson Stars RR-TN02EMG comes with two EMG-81s, 24 frets, OFR, and costs just as much as the RR24 but which one is better?

I'd personally prefer the Star guitar, for the simple reason it has two pickups and more tone controls, therefore, more tonal diversity and versatility.
