Here are some photos from the Watain show in Seattle on October 15th. It was an incredible show that will stick in my memory for some time to come! The smell of death is finally leaving my nose!

Should be a great time! I strongly suggest bringing some Mentholatum to put under your nose. The stench of death and decay is overwhelming :)

Holy fuck that makes me more excited about seeing them on the 29th. I literally just bought my ticket an hour ago. :metal:

Seeing them on the 28th. Not really enamored with any of the bands in the lineup but whatever, it's close and I'll be able to sell CDs.

Nope, just seemed like they bathed themselves pretty well in it.

I dont get that picture. Did you soak your body with blood before the concert or did Watain spew blood to people, and you were just washing it off hence the dirty bathtub?

They were going to throw it on people but the stupid fucking venue freaked out and didn't let them do it...

I was going to see them on 10/16 in Portland, but couldn't go. Don't have the funds. It was either that or Iced Earth next week. I chose Iced Earth, so I'll be at that show instead.

That's exactly how they looked when I saw them on the 13th. Great show indeed. Forgot my camera, so I don't have any pics.

Nope. I'm friends with the owner of the venue so I have a virtual photo pass for any show there.

I don't think Watain gives a shit about photography anyway, there were tons of people at the show flashing away.

Lucky bastard. Yeah, most bands don't care about pictures but the quality of your photographs would suggest you weren't being crushed up against the rail while taking them

I credit that to a long lens and steady hands as there isn't a barricade at this venue :)

Let me know if you dig them, if you post them elsewhere please leave the copyright info intact.
Cheers!

I just wonder what happened to their bass-player (the guy from Undercroft-Chile) ? Haven't seen Eric playing the bass since a long time...

I can't see any cow or pig heads on the stage in your shots. Are they toning it down or something?

Sworn To The Dark was great. The whole album. I wonder if they'll ever come to the midwest... doubt it.

I'm fairly sure that they played in Chicago sometime in the last couple of weeks. I unfortunately wasn't able to make it--but I'm sure they'll play there again. I'm not holding my breath for them to play Miwaukee, though. . .

Great pictures. They are coming to VA at Jaxx Halloween night, but I doubt that club will allow anything slightly debaucherous such as drenching the fans in fake blood. Can't make the show, but it would be pretty ironic and mindblowing to see them on Halloween.

I wish I'd remember something of the last Watain gig I saw... Alcohol beat me that time, but I had a good time nonetheless.

My friend knows someone who saw them recently. The person he knows lives across the country, and said there were people doing Nazi salutes toward Erik, and a fight broke out in the middle of their set. After the short fight, the band finished their set, and another fight broke out after they played. Does anyone know what city this was in, and does anyone have pictures?

Either way, they're going to my friend's hometown next week. He knows Erik (good friends over the internet, but never met in person), and he said he's going to talk to him and find out what happened. Isn't that crazy?

They were so awsome when i saw them here in Ottawa. I dont know who chose the opening bands though. They sucked and had nothing to do with black metal. I really wish someone would post pictures from that show...fuck..there was a guy there that takes pictures of all the metal shows and he still hasnt posted them!

To my nostrils it was that mic stand that was causing the most death stench.

I know Watain is one of the bands who have gone on record as stating they don't support NSBM so that's pretty funny.
