Searching by lyrical theme choosing ramdom keyword i've found some interesting theme such as Phosphoros who's singing about Mathematics, and physics. Nourriture grind core band with food as a lyrical theme..

And limited liability wich is Office metal , about corporate life and computer geek.

Interesting...

Any other unusual lyrical theme ?

Space is a brilliant theme for black metal lyrics. Due to it being black, empty, cold and bleak.

Well yeah, I know, probably didn't made myself clear enough there.
I meant, what makes Christina Ricci the Goddess of Doom? Is it a film or something, or do the guys just like her?

Lykathea Aflame has quite unusual lyrics for their genre, but then again, they're not your everyday death metal/grindcore band to begin with.

Rudra is also quite unusual. Lots of religious metal exists, but not so many bands dealing with hinduism.

I don't know if joke bands even count for this though. If they do there's about a million bands with really strange (often retarded) lyrical themes. Sportlov, for example.

OT:

We also have Amoseurs, with lyrics about modern urban cities. It's quite a different take on the whole black metal approach to darkness, with approaching the dark side of modern industrialism rather than the cold, frostbitten, tr00kvlt wintergrimness of the pagan dark ages. Unfortunately, this band still pretty much sucks though.

Also, we have Food Metal, which is/was (unsure if it's still going) a project dedicated to making metal about food.

That's the most retarded one I think I've ever come across. The first song on the CD is called 'Bagel'!

You be quiet, boy. Food metal is great. The riff at the start of "Deli Sliced Oven Roasted Chicken Breast" is awesome. That, and "Matzah Ball Soup" will burn your face off.

The best part is that they still have the hate theme in there. Can't sing about bikes all the time.

Well there we go. I've personally always wanted to make a Diablo-themed band. Each album would sound completely different from the last, following the five act concept.

Wasn't there some other band that had lyrics about how bad TES IV: Oblivion was?

Lugubrum sing about totems, filth and midgets

Midgets of Evil
Putrid feed
from the forest trough
stubby hands claw
damp dead foilage

Torch - light unmasks
distorted mugs
grinding molars
Midgets of evil

Buried delicacy
slobbering hybrids
sick the tainted marrow
lick the carrion

I think Ahab has to be the strangest themed non-joke band I've heard of. Moby Dick is definately one of the last things I'd expect to see listed as a lyrical theme!

Well, take a look here:
Quote:
Some I.S.o.S. tracks under the guise of another name called Project Siege. All tracks are influenced by the video game Diablo and the concept therein.

And there's this one, though I haven't listened to them.
