I have 3 guitars and 3 basses, but I'm definately not rich. None are all really expensive. The most expensive thing I own is a 6 string bass from a company called Brice. I never heard of it. I always hated 6 strings, but this one is pretty light, and when I played it, I fell in love with it. It just felt so smooth :) Here's a couple pictures I found on the internet.

http://www.rondomusic.com/photos/bass/hxb406natb5a.jpg

http://www.rondomusic.com/photos/bass/hxb406natb2a.jpg

I have pictures of the full body on my myspace, if anyone cares. It cost about $300. My 7 string guitar is a Dean Avalanche. I also have an ESP F-100 and an ESP M-10 (first guitar I got 7 years ago, came in a starter pack). Here are some pics I found online.

http://www.kosakuworld.com/guitar/avalanche.jpg

http://www.birdlandmusic.net/product_im ... ageid=1201

My first bass was a brand I've never heard of (Mako). I got it in a pawn shop for $120. It had a tribal sticker that looked so good, it looked like it was supposed to be part of the bass. My other bass was a Jackson somethingorother, which can be seen on my myspace.

I play a black Jackson Randy Rhoads. It's a hell of an axe and I absolutely love it.

Is that a Washburn? If so, how are their basses? I hear they are amazing.

My "gear" is nothing special, just an Ibanez starter package for now. Once I fully learn how to play, I'm gonna look at getting a 5 string bass provided it feels right to me, hope it does. I'm dying to play one ><.

You gotta use it while having a clean tone on your amp, you don't need extra distortion since that little fucker does the job alone.

ya i still like my High gain setting on my amp better then the uber pedal. I'm setting the EQ settings same on amp and pedal on a clean channel, still not better then my amps distortion and its not that great.

You need to lower the gain on your amp, and instead crank the pedal's drive fully. Then just play with the bass/treble until you get something you like. Hell, with this thing I can play everything from Pink Floyd to Mortician.

i dont have any pictures right now, but my rig is as follows:

- ibanez iceman (cheaper model, got it on sale just 'cause it was cheap, sounds amazing, plays just as good as it sounds)
- austin strat copy (will upgrade to a real strat when i have the money)
- fender pro junior amp
- 140 watt 2x12 custom made cabinet with jensen mod speakers
- ibanez tube sceamer
- vintage mxr distortion + block letter
- fuzz face
- crybaby wah
- mxr distortion III

this is my rig for my band Hexen . i dont use all the pedals at once obviously, i mainly use the iceman through the fender pro junior with the volume up halfway. it gets enough distortion, but has a weird flubby bass thing going on, so i use the tubescreamer with the gain down, and the level on normal with the tone all the way up on high treble- it evens all the frequencies out (and much better/quieter than any eq i've tried) there are clips of my setup on my bands myspace, these clips are from our first album (production came out alright considering our shoestring budget) the guitars on the left are with my ibanez, the guitars on the right are with my strat-copy

myspace.com/hexenband

the pro junior is only a 15 watt amp, but its more than loud enough for my purposes, it sounds great playing clubs, i plug it into the 2x12 cabinet which is pretty big, and it pushes more than enough volume,. i've played tons of shows without the amp mic'ed and it never fails me. i go for more for an old school 70's/early 80's nwobhm type tone. when i play with my black metal band Centralia, i use my mxr distortion, with all the same settings on the amp, and it gives me a really bass-heavy grind. not dissimilar from tom g warriors early tone

I use two guitars. One of them is a Jackson RR copy which I modified with two EMG81's. It is the guitar I use the most, sound amazing!
My secondairy guitar is a Ibanez RGTHRG1.
My amp is a Line 6 HD147 w/shortboard. Doesn't need anything else than that!
Anyway, everyone here seem to have awesome equipment!

I picked up a discontinued ESP LTD guitar not too long ago (a year ago). I took out the crappy stock pickups and bought a pair of DiMarzios to replace them.

Right now I'm trying to get some cash so I can buy a decent half stack, it sucks having to borrow other people's amps and shows because you're poor as hell hahah.
