Greetings, ladies and gentlemen,

As the band's main creative force and official representative, I came here to these very forums to promote and, hopefully, gather some feedback on our latest, brightest, and sadly but possibly last ever release.
Without further ado, I humbly bring to you… LESBIAN VAMPIRE KILLERS.
This demo, with its modest content of nine songs for a whole thirty minutes of music, includes almost every song the band has ever written over the past four years.
If it's not there, it simply was not deemed good enough for our esteemed listener's aural pleasure.
Everything you can hear on this record has been painstakingly recorded live in studio over the course of one rehearsal session.
This recording is a true work of passion, meant to represent the full musical spectrum of the band, from its humble beginnings in the rehearsal room to its concerts in underground punk venues and beyond.
Everyone's heart went into this session, playing like it was the last time, but as nature would have it, we are but mere humans (with the possible exception of yours truly), and as we all know, errare humanum est. Therefore, on behalf of the band, I must apologise for any mistake or sloppiness you may hear on this record.

Now, for those of you kind enough to have threaded through all these words, I shall describe what you may find here.
Stylistically, the band's beginnings were very influenced by the 90s swedish death metal scene bands like Entombed, from whom we borrowed our name, but our members have different musical histories, three of us coming from a black metal background, influenced by bands such as Mayhem or Marduk's earlier records, and our drummer coming from the punk scene, matching with my own love of hardcore punk bands like Discharge or The Exploited. We also all share deep love for 80s thrash metal bands, especially those of the teutonic scene.
The genre of the band is therefore probably best categorised as death metal, but may stray slightly from its usual boundaries.

If you appreciate what you hear, we would be delighted to hear your feedback, more than anything else in the world.
If you do not appreciate it, we are always open to constructive criticism, in our hopes of perpetual improvement as a band and musicians.
And for those of you who might consider going the extra mile and go for a paid download, know that this is but a token price meant to reflect the band's four full years of existence, but that we are deeply humbled by any donation.

Yours truly,
Messiah
Lesbian Vampire Extraordinaire

Glad to see you finally got something out. I had always wondered when I had last spoken with any of you when you finally picked up a drummer locally.

Glad to see a familiar face here! Well, we did quite a lot of rehearsing and a few shows over the past four years, but we never got to put out any kind of "official" demo until now. We figured we should release something featuring our whole set to mark the band's existence, as this could sadly be the last thing we ever do. I don't think I should discuss it in details but let's just say one of our members got Yoko Ono'd and that our fate is uncertain right now.
