WOODEN STAKE / DRUID LORD split-7" OUT NOW !
Horror Doom vs Doom Death
Check it out

Image

"captivating couple of tunes from two killer bands", 9/10 (Doommantia)
"Definitely a fantastic release and highly recommended for all doom fans." (Heavy metal time machine)
"encore une bonne tuerie " (Nawakposse)
"DO NOT pass this one" (Hellride)
" réservée aux ayatollahs du doom" (Vs-webzine)
"Schleichend, langsam, schwarz und heavy" (Obliveon)
"Ein interessante sammlerstück" (Osnametal)
"een zeer goede aanschaf" (Zwar Metallen)

WOODEN STAKE plays horror doom metal with dark, haunting female vocals which wound like incantations. Heavy, catchy and eerie doom duo from Texas and New-York.

DRUID LORD has been notably formed by Pete (ex-INCUBUS, ex-ACHERON,...). After having released their first album, they present here a catchy oldschool doom death metal track mixing PENTAGRAM and ASPHYX influences.

"Druid Lord once again delivers a heavy doom/death track that you can compare a bit to the style of bands like Hooded Menace and Autopsy. ‘Black Candle Séance’ really is a great song. Wooden Stake moves a bit into the direction of old Cathedral with their track ‘In The Godless Moonlight’ and there’s nothing wrong with that."
78/100 (Lord of Metal.nl)

"Wunderbar starke und zähe Riffs treffen auf ein klar hörbares mächtiges Schlagwerk und ausdrucksstarke Growls von Tony Blakk (...)
[WOODEN STAKE] tendieren eher in das Umfeld von Jex Thoth" (LEGACY MAGAZINE #71)
