Underground Bands: I am an album reviewer who posts videos on youtube. The music reviewing community has grown a great deal in the past year and a half, and is now a great tool in expanding your audience as well as promoting your band further on your own sites and group pages. About a month ago, I announced I would be doing a special, ongoing project called ON THE UNDERGROUND, where bands can submit their material to me, and I will listen and give them an album review video for their work.
First, before we do anything, check out my channel at
http://www.youtube.com/user/coverkillernation and please subscribe. i would prefer anyone that submits to be subscribers, but if you don't have an account on youtube, I understand.
to see the playlist of the videos already done for this project, go to
http://www.youtube.com/user/coverkillernation#grid/user/51F977CDC91CF450Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I'll tell you how to submit your material to me so it can be reviewed:
1. you will be e-mailing the information and music to me at
[email protected] - please have your music either in a .zip file, on mediafire or similar variety website, or link me to a youtube channel with the music you want me to review.
2. submit a short biography of your band or project. its name, a history and any other cool facts you think i should know that i may want to mention in your review video.
3. send and please be patient. i usually do one or two of these a week, considering i also cover a lot of new music from established artists and have a lot of projects that i like to do for the channel. everyone who submits music to the e-mail address i've posted will be covered!
4. promo! when i upload the video, i'll send you a link to the video so you can post it to your website or facebook page, that way your fans know that Coverkillernation supports you!
that's the deal. if interested, go ahead and submit to that e-mail address! to any who choose to subscribe to the channel and participate in this project, THANK YOU!
