I am sure many of you are unfamiliar with my project. It was an ambient project for a long time, but I got a new member last year, and we just began to write and record some new music for a split with the project Taur Nu Fuin. The new style falls under the category of depressive black metal. For fans of Wedard, Ancestral, Austere, and Hexenmeister.

I like it. Never really been one to offer much advise on this sort of thing because there are a lot of people doing it. I guess if you get an ep, demo for download come back and have a better idea.

the new demo versions should be completed sometime by summer. We will start looking for labels relatively soon for two planned releases we have.

Artwork for the EP release is underway, as well as mastering of the tracks, and a bunch of touching up and adding some stuff we didn't have time to finish before. Hopefully a release will be ready for April sometime.

As a clarification, since a lot of people seem to associate this as a "Christian" project, I would like to make it clear that it is NOT. Members of the project have been and some still are involved with other Christian projects, but this is one we would like to keep separate since nothing about it lyrically or musically is "Christian" or about faith. Lyrically, all of the music is about depression and struggles. Sometimes about seeking out an answer, whether someone wants to interpret it as God, or some other entity. We do work with a lot of Christians in general, mainly because of the way we were raised, if you are to notice, our shirts are printed and sold from a Christian company. As a heads up, if anyone does want to place an order, but is skeptical about ordering from a Christian site, I will clarify and say they will not preach to you, or shove anything down your throat. It is simply a business run by a close friend of mine.

Also, disregard my username, unblack was a term I thought was cool back in my "Christian black metal" obsessed days. If I could change the username, I would.

The artwork was done by Memento Mori Art, and the album was mastered by Garry Brents from Cara Neir.

The release should be out in the next few weeks, I will be printing it myself, but am also looking for a label to do a professional pressing. If you are interested, please PM me.
