Multi-instrumentalist William Wolfe began playing metal in his first band at age 12 in 1984. Brimstone Fist has been active since 1996, first under the name Pagan Invader (at that time also featuring drummer Mark Bridgman, R.I.P.), then for several years as Diabolist, and several cassette and cd demos were released under those names. An American, Wolfe lived for some time in Japan and currently resides in Bangkok, Thailand. While recording the latest demo a name change was deemed necessary, as there was an American band using the name Diabolist. Thus Brimstone Fist became a reality. Brimstone Fist's style is based on doom metal and 70's classic rock with thrash, death and black metal influences. The five songs on the "Brimstone Fist" demo are sure to please fans of bands like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Saint Vitus, Venom, Celtic Frost, etc. Wolfe is currently considering recording a new demo of songs which will further explore the depths of insanity, despair and damnation.
