Sakna was the brainchild of my brother, Solemn. Loosely inspired by Dante Alighieri's 'Divine Comedy', his only album 'De Syv Dødssynder' is the culmination of his life's work, as he would take his own life in 2011 when the writing and recording of the album was completed (recording took place from 2006-2011). I've spent the last several years retrieving the songs from my brother's old hard drives, mixing them and I have finally released the full album this past week on May 8th.

I hope you will enjoy his music. Like a time capsule, it offers something of a glimpse into what Black Metal sounded like at that time, nearly 15 years ago now.
