it isn't bad at all. It isn't really anything unique or original, though (if that's what you were trying to go for). It is alright, I suppose.

No, wasn't really going for unique, just regular death metal. Good to know it's not bad, though. Any tips would be cool, btw. Composition, production, things to add in, things to take out, etc., for future works.

production wasn't bad, either I think. It had balls, wasn't muddy and didn't sound like Hate Eternal or Nile sludge (not always a bad thing). I can't really find anything really wrong with it other than the fact that it's quite unoriginal, which isn't even really much of a complaint.

In terms of production it's every-so-slightly muddy (but fashionably so) although all the instruments are still very audiable.
What I'd work on is memorability, and also more use of the higher end of your guitar, especially for leads, and for more than just tremolo.

But other than that, it's very tight and proficient. Just not particularly interesting.

Wow, production/guitar tone was actually my biggest worry.

So, I guess with the unoriginality, there's probably not much of a standout to anyone, huh? Like any song that seemed more well written and executed than the others?

Oh, and as far as the doing more leads thing, I've been trying, but I'm really not much of a lead player at all, so it's pretty slow going.
