I'm looking for a good drum machine which is compatible with Guitar-Pro-exported midi drums without too much messing around. I've used EZDrummer/Drumkit from Hell before, and while it's been good for my purposes, I'm wondering if there was anything as good or better for a cheaper price. I'm looking to use it for both metal and non-metal purposes.

If you're already familiar with Toontrack's products, Superior Drummer is excellent software and it is commonly used amongst professionals.

BFD2 sounds the best to me, in terms of realism.

Native Instruments' Studio Drummer is said to be cheaper, and I've heard some quite decent outputs on Youtube.
