Hi guys.

I'm a member from the Spanish band SKJAERSILD. Now we are working on a new release.

I want to know, if it's possible, if you can give me your opinion for this song we recorded.

Thanks.

It was ok. Standard fare. Didn't really go anywhere from where it started, seemed to me. The instrumentation could have been fleshed out a lot. I did like the beginning couple of minutes with the shuddering vocals. But over all the vocals were too far forward in the mix for my taste and seemed like they were blowing out in a way that didn't work for me (which is how I felt about the bass, too). Honestly, I could have done without everything before the closing minute or so and gone with a brand new track based on that closer. I didn't really get how it connected to the track itself, but it sounded more interesting.

But keep going, man. It sounds like young work, not bad work, if you see what I mean.

I agree with what Grave_Wyrm noted about the vocals and mixing. The tone and some of the riffing reminded me of suizid era Bethlehem though, which was nice but the song didn't really do it for me. Kind of boring structurally, but a large improvement over the band's earlier output.

Hm. Interesting. I enjoyed the intro, but once it picked up, it sounded kinda messy. Production wise, I would try to clean it up a bit if it's going to be re-released. Good stuff though =]
