Is it possible to create authentic low goregrind vocals with a technique instead of a pitch shifter?

You will never go as low as Rompeprop with a natural voice..

But Goregrind vocals vary alot, from lows to scream (See Putrid Pile) so pitch shifterless vocals is fitting and even freferable in my opinion.

Brutal death metal ≠ goregrind. Ever.

Anyways, OP, it depends on what you're thinking of as goregrind vocals. If you're thinking of the low, distorted roar used by bands like Last Days of Humanity and Rompeprop, then no, that's probably not humanly possible. The low, extremely gurgly, almost bubbling vocals like the ones you hear in Cock and Ball Torture are also out of range of the human voice. Your best bet would be the type that's used in Carcass clone bands (or Demilich) - a low, airy growl achieved using vocal fry.

While Putrid Pile most certainly isn't goregrind, I think Shaun Lacanne's vocals are about the lowest you can go without pitch shifting.

That should be humanly possible, yeah. Sounds like vocal fry to me.

vocals like that can be done naturally. it's kind of hard to explain how to do it, but it's almost like you're constricting your throat a bit while pushing air out of your stomach. this probably isn't helpful at all, but i can't think of a better way to describe it. the best way is honestly just to try to emulate the sound by doing it over and over and over again for a long time. at least, that's how i came to be able to do it. if only i could tell you how many strange looks i got while doing it walking down the street...

if you want to try to emulate something like this without being able to do it very well, some vocalists have been known to "cup" the mic with their hands to give it a little extra body. i also discovered (whilst stoned and bored) that you can get a similar effect with a paper towel roll tube, if not better. neither of these are going to be popular suggestions (especially "cupping," as a lot of people deem it 'cheating' or 'un-tr00' or whatever), but if that's what you're going for then who gives a fuck?

i should also say that i don't think any vocalist who can do that is doing it very loudly at all. from my experience it's pretty quiet on its own, so don't let lower volume discourage you.

It is possible but difficult, and pushing your voice to extreme notes, low and high, is something a lot of people simply can't do. Rather than aiming for ultra-low notes, work on your technique and endurance first.

So its a fry but not a false chord thing right? Im not sure how to exactly imitate the sound though. I found a vid about it on youtube and Im going to keep working on it.

I always thought there isn't really a set goregrind style of growling. The key element is just contrasting high/low vocals. That will make your vocals more recognizably goregrind than anything else in my opinion.
