*EDIT*

I'd like to hear what you all think of this song we wrote composition-wise. We recorded it in my basement with two mics and an audio interface. Please forgive the vocalist kinda fading in and out, it was his first time ever recording anything.

Sounded quite progressive, and some riffs were a bit strange, but everything flowed so well together, so I can't really fault anything. Impressive song.

sounded good enough, just wishing a bit more depth to the song and a bit more power

By more depth, do you mean the recording quality or expanding the riffs?

I'll be posting some more songs in a week or so when we get our mixer. We'll have much higher quality recordings.

If you're liking what your hearing, you should like us on facebook to keep updated on our music, as we'll be recording a full length studio album in september.

Sounds pretty decent. I can definitely hear the Skeletonwitch though the structuring on here is much more complex. I like how the way it slows down before the second half of the song, works pretty well.

Well, a bit overdue in this, but for all those interested we have the recordings we got in August of 2011. Any feedback on the rest of the album would be greatly appreciated. We also have a lot more material in the works for future recording.

I can appreciate the music even with the bad prod.

The only thing that irks me is the way the vocals increase and decrease in volume. Otherwise, fuckin' kickass!

Greetings! Since you asked for critique, here it is .. I think the drums are too low, the vocals are too high in the mix (and, like Syntek said, it's jarring that they fluctuate randomly in volume) and don't have enough reverb (just a touch will do), but the sound is thick, so that's cool. Work subtle meter changes more often. Subtle differences can make a big .. um .. difference. :) Good intensity, though. I liked the production ok. I tend to like interior variation (like when phrases change just slightly or the drums hit a different accent than the guitars in some kind of unexpected and deft crafting). Stuff like that. I support the effort, though.

This would make an excellent addition to the compilation of demo songs by up and coming bands I am currently assembling!

Impressive song, man! It took me one listen to really get into! I like how it combines melody, death, and black metal.
