I've been messing around with mine lately. Never messed with them before. Seems more trouble than its worth, trying to get the volume and shit right on the front and the back. Plus my EQ made it sound muddy when I switched it on. And my Wah made a real high pitched squeal.
Am I doing something wrong?

Stick with time/modulation effects like delay or chorus when using an amp's effects loop.

Run distortion and wah through the front input only.
