Hey guys, I've been working on a hard rock kinda song and I would like some feedback on the mix. It's pretty rough as of now, I know the guitars sound kinda muddy, but I want to know if I'm going for the right direction and all that kinda stuff.

Thanks in advance!

musically you hit what it's supposed to be but you know in most modern rock the bass is what carries like 80% of the heft of the song. and I'm talking about the instrument not just bass in the guitars. so basically you need to get a better tone on that bass and crank it way the fuck up.

and "Drop-D is pure awesomeness"

Fuck no. Not ever.

Thanks for the quick feedback! Yeah, I the bass is kinda just there right now. It lack presence, I'll get that fixed for sure.

Also, about drop-d tuning not ever being awesome, I respectfully disagree. :P

I stand my ground cause that was not a good song to try to convert me to your way of thinking about it. Let's just agree to disagree before it gets into a large pointless arguement.

and you are welcome on the feedback.

Wasn't trying to start an argument or anything - honestly, arguing over one how should tune their guitar is just retarded. :P I just wanted to show a great example of the tuning IMO.

Really fist-pumping and gritty. Also tight musicianship as well. Would go great with some Artimus Pyledriver-esque vocals, IMO.
However, it needs more happening when the solo bass starts (perhaps something similar to the beginning). Also, the one or two china hits between the breaks at the beginning I find a little too prominent, but maybe that's just me. The drums could also definitely use some tom/snare fills.

But aside that, great!
