I've been playing for a few months now and I'm looking for easy metal/rock songs to play, any genre within metal/rock is fine. :)

Try mercyful fate's Evil. It's very fun and easy to play. Also, pretty much anything from Kill 'em All, Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Danzig (Twist of Cain is awesome!). Have fun. ;)

I would try Transilvanian Hunger by Darkthrone. Ridiculously easy.

Tristania's stuff is really easy to play, at least from their first albums, there are some tabs of them at www.911tabs.com :)

Thanks so far guys I'll have to look up tabs for some of these :) Can I ask are there any Priest/Maiden songs/riffs that are fairly simple/fun to play that I could have a go at?

Check out any Burzum. I think Iron Maiden, while seemingly easy, can still be tough to play.
