If you hate it, that's fine. But it would be nice to get some constructive criticism. This is still a very rough demo of the song and we know we need to improve upon it.

Ok, here's my two cents. I don't think the guitar work is catchy enough. What I mean is, you have to hook the listener with your music, and hooking a listener is doubly important if you're doing simple stuff. Bands like Black Sabbath and Corrosion of Conformity can get away with not being technically complex because their music really hooks you and pulls you in. But the stuff on the file just sounds like a garage band jamming on a simple riff that was come up with on the fly by an inexperienced guitar player. There's nothing wrong with that, but if you want it to be something that's lasting, it'll have to be much more memorable.

Okay, thank you. This is helpful. The next song we are working on is faster with more riff variety, so perhaps we are getting somewhere. This is the first real song anybody in the band has ever made.

I'd just like to say that I didn't actually listen to the song, I was merely delirious from lack of sleep. My apologies.

Oh okay. I checked out your band, and you probably wouldn't care for our stuff anyway. You guys are definitely eons ahead of us and are very technical musicians.

This is our first band, and we didn't even have a real drum set or microphone, so we used ones from rock band and guitar hero.

Well it seems like no one here wants to actually give some opinion....

Here are some thoughts...

- Not bad at all for a first song. Many people/bands have much less interesting material for their first try.

- Some people might be bored by it as there are only a few riffs. Some riffs pop into my head that I would add to it....

- It is similar to some slower death metal bands like Six Feet Under or Obituary....

- Guitar sounded like maybe it needed a little tighter tuning?
