Hi, i'm very much interested in starting a black metal-project.
I would write the lyrics and do the vocals.
This means i'm looking for someone who can do bass, guitar and drums.
Preferably one person doing all that stuff, but I could accept more people being involved.

as stated in various different threads, I can play bass. I'm not much on primary songwriting but give me music to play and I'll play it.

fretted or fretless, pick or fingers. various vst amp sims at my disposal.

Kinda raw, not like thrash/death with bad production, it has to contain a lot of melodies also

I can't really play for shit, but I can write material, so if you don't mind having programmed drums, and/or if you want keys or other non-standard-metal-arrangements, then I can oblige you. Or I'll even write basslines for that bassist guy who says he doesn't write to play.

Have any of the M-A internet bands actually accomplished anything? I've never heard a followup on any one of them.

Yeah, I gave up on the idea after realising just how hopeless the whole thing was going to be. Unless if you know the people well beforehand, it's just not going to happen.

It's unlikely, but if nobody ever tries nobody will ever succeed guaranteed.

this is a sample of something I worked on a few months ago, another m-a black metal project that never really came to fruition. excuse the shitty midi guitars and drums, and the horrible mix (it was just something I sent to the guitar player/songwriter to see what he thought of the bass tone I was using)

that's if you still were looking for a bass player. that was recorded on my fretless after about 5 minutes of jamming the riffs. with no warming up at all.

So...the guitarist sent me some stuff today, we need to have drums over it and then i'm gonna put vocals on it in the end.
Any drummer who wants to be in this could send me a sample...
