Here is a pack of 64 impulses for your enjoyment.

I made all the impulses with my VHT 2/90/2 power amp and Avatar cabinet with Celestion CL80s. I used a Shure SM57 and a Sennheiser e906.

Check it out :D

Impulses are used to simulate a power amp/cabinet for silent recording. They are very useful for recording direct, and sound quite a bit better than most cabinet simulators. Here is a link for additional info: http://www.guitarampmodeling.com/viewto ... 3b4894a3af

How many forums do you post all this stuff on, matt? Just curious.

ESP Guitars, Harmony-Central, and Andy Sneap's. I figure if I am going to make this stuff, I might as well make it available to everyone.

You're not very good at capitalism, Matt.

I have actually thought about making a cabinet impulse program that would be really really bad ass, but I'd need two or three more power amps, more mics, and several varieties of speaker ( V30, G12T75, Greenback, G12h30s, etc ) to make it worth making. And I'd also have to learn how to code, and then spend MONTHS just making the impulse files.

thanks for these.
i've become an impulse-collector of sorts since moving to an apartment building where recording direct is practically necessary.
