I just started to write some music and I made a song, it is called "He From The Cold Deepness". I just wanted to know what you think about it!

Here is the link:

Let me know what you think!

Thanks a lot!

The "lead" guitar part (guitar harmony) was pretty elementary and not really my thing. I liked like the first 20 seconds and another part somewhere in the middle. I would say do less of the strumming on one note for your basic element of the song. I'm not so into that kind of stuff. I like riffs based in the pentatonic scale. it sounds like something a harsh vocalist would sing over, and I think that would just totally turn me off to it completely. If you had a Bruce Dickinson or Joey Belladona type voice, it might turn out kind of original and different.

I think the riffing at the very beginning is just too generic, but it gets better. At 0:31, it just starts getting progressively better, and I can say I enjoyed the rest.

The "Unknown Skies" song is very good, I liked it a lot.

Basic mixing problem, but the right guitar is louder than the left in the beginning.

The composition of the song is fairly generic, but if you work on and develop your style to include more of the atmosphere and symphonic elements in your metal, it'll be excellent.

A great start!

I liked both songs. The last one is very groove but you do it well. Good job and good luck.
