i was looking into getting this drum machine is it a good drum machine to use for death metal?

yeah but you don't have to go that new. I've got a 660 that makes all the beats I need and it won't break you. Never buy new and never pay full price. Just be carefull when you do buy used to make sure it's good quality. The only time I buy new is when it's boutique and not available second hand.
