I use GP5 with the RSE turned off. Doesn't sound any different than GP4, doesn't crash, and I can open gp5 files..

this is a really cool tab place as it has a lot of older and classic rock songs done up in tab. it plays it and show you but the only bad thing is its a website that you have to pay to become a member .

At lot of stuff like that you can just fake it. Nobody can really tell what is going on, so just get close enough. The big hits by bands like that are tabbed out, and people will recognize those first, so just cover those.

My sound card broke and I've ran out of money to replace (although I will have enough to replace it in a few days!!!).

I have been wanting to get into doom metal (and drone) but I haven't heard much until my sound card broke so I can't download any and listen to it So right now my only option is to actually play the songs on my guitar, so can anyone link me or tell me some good doom/drone metal bands who have some good tabs on the net that I can play? I don't think skill should be an issue with doom (except for solos) due to the speed its played at.

Could someone tab the end of the song "Kali" by !T.O.O.H.! (album: Rad a Trest)? I would be forever grateful. That ending is forever stuck in my head. I can't exactly figure out the chord at the start that is played twice (going from 5th string to 1st: 6 5 0 3 3, maybe???), and I think I have the trem picking part, sorta, after it, but then I can't figure out the palm muting part or the solos, etc. I also don't know what tuning they play in, so I just figured out what I could in standard.

Another tab I would love is the intro to Insomnium's "The Day it all Came Down", off the album of the same name. It sounds tapped, and I don't know what tuning they play in (maybe standard D?), but it's really awesome, especially after the piano intro "Nocturne". If anyone could help that'd be great. thanks.

i could use some Malignancy and Origin bass tabs, if anyone got 'em. If not i could do with the guitar tabs and learn from those. Unfortunatly I've had to learn a lot of death metal songs on my bass learning from guitar tabs, but on the plus it built me to be a better shredder.

Have anyone noticed that when searching for (metal) tabs on the internet, there is usually one version you are able to find for a specific song. But then everywhere else just uses the same tab as if it was circulated equally throughout the internet, regardless of its accuracy.

It sort of pisses me off because I keep searching and the tablature is the same no matter where I go. It's usually wrong and that's why I'm searching for another one in the first place. So, I guess I have to learn to develop my 'playing by ear' skills more. Though, I have been getting much better over the past year.

If someone has got the Behexen tabs from Mysongbook(By The Blessing Of Satan, Celebration Of Christ's Fall, Sota Valon Jumalaa Vastaan and Night Of The Blasphemy from metaltabs), could you please upload and link them cause I can't get those from those places. Would be really appreciated.

I got a question concerning Mayhem's "Pure Fucking Armageddon", since all the tabs i found on the net seem to be wrong or weird.

I'm not really sure which of these is correct, since most Mayhem records containing PFA have a very poor sound quality.

I don't think it matters. Just play any of those as sloppy as you can and it will sound just like the original.

but still it bothers me, because i tabbed this one out as kind of an ear training and now got stuck, because of its wimpy sound quality

I would just say go with what you think sounds best. Play it the way you think it should be played.

Also, you could check the official Mayhem website for any tabs, but I doubt they would have 'em.
