im new to making music i made only 2 songs so far,
can you suggest depressive and harsh sounding scales ? also i dont know much of a music theory

Just learn your major and minor scales. Search for those online. Then just experiment with variations on those. But basically most of what you'll want for "depressive" will be some kind of minor scale. (There's the natural, melodic, and harmonic minor scales. I can never remember which is which, and it's not important. Just understand each of those variations, which just involve single notes being different between one and the next.)

Just learn all your scales. The mood of your music depends on a lot more than just the scales you use, it's more up to the way you use said scales. Hell. Gymnopedie No. 1 is mostly based on the interchanging harmony between two major chords (major 7ths as far as I can remember).
