Few years ago I had a blackened death metal project and I was posting every song I recorded in this section to get some feedback. Most of the time, the comments I'd get here were always helpfuls and relevant. Unfortunatley, about 3 years ago I lost interest in metal and stoped making music, until about few weeks ago when I suddenly got inspired again. So I recently did a quick recording of some ideas and riffs and I would like to share it with the musicians forum of the MA. The recording and playing is a bit sloppy but hey, it was just for the fun of it. I can't say what genre it is, but i think its heavy.

Here it is, I hope some of you will enjoy it.

I couldn't comprehend much in the beginning. I guess you were just riffing casually but when I reached 1:06  the track got really heavy and everything started getting exponentially better. I love the tone and some of your riff ideas. You should seriously build on this and release something.

Yeah, this was a little overlong in the introduction, and most of the riffs seemed like variations of one another, but the riffing style and production were all cool. Definitely worthy of being fleshed out. I was reminded of the groovier parts of Darkspace III in some places.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Batman, did you find that only the introduction riffs were all too similar or is it for the whole track?

No, I mean once the track itself really started to get going (I think around 1:50 or so?) the riffs in the rest of the song kind of just felt like various iterations of the same theme. They were all cool, for sure, but in finished-product format I think I'd want a little more variation in each song than that.

Ok thanks, ill try to add more variation, although Im not planning to release anything. I guest that the single drum beat on a loop from 1:45 to the end doesn't help.
