So it's the moderators that give 8, 5 or 3 points to users who write good, medium or bad reviews, right!

Does that mean that when a moderator writes a review, he scores himself?

I think we don't get points for our reviews. I don't know, haven't checked.

Mine are, of course, always worth roughly 300 points.

Sigh... I think I'll cheer myself up a bit, perhaps by giving myself 10000 undeserved points right now.

Pretty sure you're right, moderators don't get points for reviews.

Yea, mods don't get any points for submitting/editing reviews. Otherwise I'd douse myself in 8s and ride into the night.
