Looking for reviews for my bands last demo single. We're After Illusion and we play a mix of doom, psychedelia, and gothic music. We're writing for our debut album and we'd love to get some feedback for our latest songs. I'd be willing to do a review swap if anybody is interested! Also will send MP3 if youtube is not your thing, just send me a message.

Just asking people to write a review for my band, Wolfs Spell. Its raw black metal, so keep that in mind (alittle more raw than I wished, but my recoring studio is a garage and a hand held cassette recorder) . Just curious what people think of it. Often I find bands on marketplaces whose music is impossible to find on the web, but, luckily someone descriptively reviewed the band on Metallum.

I dont care if it gets a 0/100 rating. Whatever. Be brutally honest.
I would write it myself, but that seems a little... pretentious

Ankou Awaits - Wyllt
Track listing:

I. With Sword in Hand
II. The Blackened Faced Warrior
III. Heading Down the Path to Destiny
IV. With Madness in His Eyes
V. Among the Waste of War
VI. Along with His Sanity

This is the 3rd full length release from the Deathened Black Metal project, Ankou Awaits. 43 minutes of blistering metal which can only be described as a marriage of the most heinous and emotional black metal with the most gut wrenching and maniacal death metal. Released on Black Plague Records.

If anyone wants to help spread the word about this album, or review the album here, Spirit of Metal, on their own site, etc. I'll give away my music to do so. Please contact me at thomas at ankouawaits dot com. Any questions, concerns or comments can be sent there as well.

Since I have yet to regain my motivation for writing, I'd be interested in seeing/reading MA reviews by someone (anyone!) else for the following releases:
Azure Emote - Chronicles of an Aging Mammal (since I already kind of rec'd you the album maybe you would do the honors, MalignantThrone?)
Beelzefuzz - Demo 2011 (available for free sanctioned download here)
Any or both of Blackholicus' albums
Caducity - The Weiliaon Wielder Quest
Carnivora Masacre - Sangre
Any or both of Damage's demos
Fistula - We, The Beast
Humanasaur - Monster Saviour Song
Jelonek - Revenge
JT Bruce - Universica (I hate seeing the only review for this cool piece of instrumental DIY space prog being by ConorFuckingFynes... available for free sanctioned download here; even if you have no intention of reviewing it, download it anyway!)
Kroh - Kroh
Metal Band - Demo
Plazenta Eater - I Hope You Get...
Red Blade - Powerwalker
Replica - Metanoia
Sheavy - The Machine That Won the War
Striga - Striga
Tron - Tron Bloody Tron
Wurzlzwerg - Dwarf King Rievezåhl

I'm able to provide some of the more obscure stuff if requested.

Anyone?

Seeing some reviews for The Bombs of Enduring Freedom would be cool as well.

Hello,

SL here from the young metal band called Wall Of The Eyeless from Sweden, with, as the reviews of our first demo claimed, an original style right from the start. It will be great if you check our new record out and review it or just help us to spread the word about the band. Hopefully, it's well worth it.

After a lot of good and great feedback we've received after the release of our first demo, “Through Emptiness”, and our dedication to music we've got an opportunity to push everything to a new level. This record, which is entitled “Wimfolsfestta”, is basically our second demo, but it's much more than that. It's a thought-through record which has a concept in everything - in music, lyrics and artwork.
The CD has 4 tracks with the total running time of almost 27 minutes, was recorded and mixed in Endarker Studio (MARDUK, FUNERAL MIST, RAGNAROK, etc.) with MARDUK’s bassist Magnus “Devo” Andersson as a producer and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (KATATONIA, SWALLOW THE SUN, OPETH, AMON AMARTH, BLOODBATH, etc.).
“Wimfolsfestta” is a big step up both production- and songwriting-wise.

You can stream the record in its entirety on our Bandcamp, Stereokiller and Metaldemos pages:

I would like to see (a) review/s the demos "For the Throne" by Zajal and "Beyond the Red Skies" by Uncaged. Both releases have the same guitarist Alhussain Sherif. I think he is a brilliant guitarist and I plan to right a review for each of these releases in the forseable future. The releases can be downloaded. I am not sure if I should post a link so just run a websearch. Also if you like the music, but a copy.

I haven't been reviewing much lately, but I may do this. I have already listened to it and it was interesting and enjoyable, I'm just not sure I could find the right words as I've always been bad at reviewing black metal and I'm not good with psychedelic stuff either.

I'd like to see some more reviewers tackle A Million Dead Birds Laughing! They're an Australian band who play wacky tech-death mixed with grindcore, like a much more interesting Psycroptic mixed with fast speedy blasts and occasional dashes of experimentation. I'll tackle them myself sometime in the future, but in the meantime I want to see other people's thoughts on them.

You can stream and download both of their albums for free on their Bandcamp page. Anyone want to take a shot?
