I'm thinking about reviewing both albums actually, but those who know my track record also understand that it may come within a month or never at all.

For what is worth Frog, they're actually good (and not overly wanking, at least not that much).

Ken Sorceron (Abigail Williams/Lord Mantis) mastered the Severed Receptors EP, and I would be more than happy to send a download link containing pictures and album art to anyone who is interested in reviewing it.

Bumping one last time. Third time's a charm, I hope! You don't even need a promo code anymore, just click the link in my signature to go to the bandcamp page, listen or download (for free of course!) and have at it.

Say MutantClannfear? Why did you never review Molesting The Decapitated? Do you have a special reason not to review it?

I only ask this since you seem to be a commited slam death follower, and MTD is one of the most essential slam albums ever....right?

I really wish I had the skills to review this. This is an area I have little experience in, but I wholeheartedly enjoy Coma Void

Because I don't feel particularly inclined to divulge my feelings on it. If you really want to know what I think of it, I suppose I differ from most BDM fans in that I enjoy it while it's on but I don't think it's the greatest thing ever (it's an important album, yes, but the production sucks ass, the vocals feel rather lazy at times, and a lot of the songwriting doesn't make much sense). I've thought about reviewing it before, but I've been devoting most of my free time this year to learning languages and I've put reviewing in general on the back burner for the foreseeable future. I actually haven't really listened to much new music this year at all, and most of what I've listened to has been ambient/drone/other passive genres... kinda hard to memorize Czech declensions when listening to music that practically demands the listener's attention.

Yeah I don't particularly love the album either but it's not bad...

Never bothered for Suffocation, Cryptopsy and more brutal (tech)death bands? I don't mean now but ever?

The new Words of Farewell album The Black Wilde Yonder is one I really like, tried to write a review about it, but I need more practice before I will ever write a good one I guess. Still I feel that this album deserves some more attention whilst being overshadowed by other, more well known bands in this genre.

Someone should review one of the last 2 Sekhmet albums. They have 4 albums and a bunch of splits and not a single review for anything. Their 2010 album wasn't bad at all, kind of reminded me of Tsjuder a bit. http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Sekhmet/49650

If you'd like to discover and review a new Death Metal album that's both old school and modern, with black and grind influences, sounding authentic and groovy yet brutal/heavy, and none of the now-omnipresent annoying high-pitched synthetic kick sound: then you'll probably love the new Paroxysm album!

http://paroxysmmm.bandcamp.com

If you'd like to review the whole album but do not wish to pay for it, I can send you a private link. You can get either the regular 11-track album, or the 1-track version (as if you ripped the CD as a whole track).

Haha, i'm a fast writer, already written the review and I think it covers the material well, but i'm gonna wait a few days to see if the remaining tracks will be put up for streaming, not that I think they'll change my view on the album much, but still...

In a nutshell: simply solid stuff, nothing special to it, some interesting influences but nothing that makes me think it's better than the majority of modern DM releases

...

I'd be interested to see some reviews for this: http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Infecting_the_Swarm/Pathogenesis/409392

It's a one-man band playing some seriously heavy modern BDM with (apparently) some slam influences, it's more of the same, but interesting enough to deserve a few reviews imo...

Obviously, do not submit a review for an album you haven't even heard in its entirety. It pains me that I even have to type these things.

Hello all! Would anybody be interested in reviewing my band Halberd`s album ''Remnants of Crumbling Empires''?
The entire thing is up on bandcamp, the link is in my sig. It would be greatly appreciated.

I might try writing something up. The one song I heard was pretty cool and I should get back into reviewing more anyway.

I know someone out there wants to do this. I can't I play the drums with 'em but dammit someone should! Even a horribly negative review works haha
