Does anyone want to review my band's last release? We're in the process of writing a new full-length and would like some feedback/criticism on our last release. We're Death Metal from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here's the link to our album "Dethrone" via bandcamp. Thanks, guys!

My band, Mortanius, recently released an EP titled, "Savage Garden", and I'd appreciate it if anyone here could give it a review. We're a 3-piece progressive metal band from Plymouth Meeting, PA. Much appreciated.

This seems cool, I'll see what I can do, I like what I'm hearing. I'll fix the MA genre as well since that's not gothic haha.

If anyone is interested in reviewing a brand new old-school thrash EP by Tankist, then contact me and I can give you a private link to the songs. The opening track is available on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoE5CoCdeYI

Link to the EP on Metal Archives http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Ta ... ded/525281

I did the artwork for the EP, otherwise it's my best friend's band.

If someone could review The Metal Shakespeare Company (exactly what you think it is), that would be good. These guys deserve a review and I'd do it but heavy/power is not my specialty.

Would love to see some reviews for Tau Cross. I'll probably get to it at some point, but I've been writing reviews at a glacial place these days.

It rewards immersion. I don't have any time for Portal, who they often get associated with, but coming at it as a fan of stuff like Teitanblood, Embrace of Thorns, Black Witchery and Archgoat I got a lot out of it. Especially since it has that raw, clamouring aspect like Adversarial, who I subsequently got way into. For my money Impetuous Ritual do their "ritual" vibe very well, but yes, you might need repeat listens in solitude and darkness before it really starts talking to you ;)

This is making me want to do a review now.

Still waiting, man. I already got both albums out of my way. :)

Young thrash band Tankist is still waiting reviews for their EP "Be Offended", massive thanks to Roffle_the_Thrashard for writing the first one. The EP is now available for free listening and sale in Bandcamp: http://tankist.bandcamp.com/album/be-offended

Secondly, they have now released a single via YouTube, please someone review this track too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02dYoneVLas

Would anybody else mind tackling the new Scorpions album "Return To Forever"? There isn't a single review on it other than mine, and I'd like to hear some other perspectives, out of curiosity.

Still disappointed they didn't end with their last one, which would have been perfect if they'd done so like they said.

Bands never stick to it when they stay that. It's just like all of the bands that have done a "final tour". Couple years later, there they are touring again.

So how come Crucifixion's Desert of Shattered Hopes is always one of the first albums to be brought up in any old school death metal gems thread but still doesn't have a single review?

Transmetal could use some reviews if anyone is interested. For such a prolific band, they only have a whopping two reviews.

US based Dalla Nebbia recently released their second full length Felix Culpa. They play atmospheric black metal with doom and progressive rock elements. Sareeta from Borknagar and Solefald joined them as violinist for this album, and it's a big advancement in sound from their previous work. The album is streaming in full on bandcamp, if anyone would like to write a review.

Please write a review for Rattler's new six track album "The Warrior's Way". It is some original sounding death metal, a hidden gem for sure.

The album on SoundCloud (the order of the songs is messed up, trust the numbers behind titles): https://soundcloud.com/chocmool-sirius

The album launch is accompanied by four music videos that were released over the last two months.

We would greatly appreciate it if you would consider reviewing the album.

About the band:
Forbidden Planet are a 4-piece instrumental band that are dedicated to boldly exploring the uncharted terrain of genre-bending prog rock. Guided by the maxim “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law”, Forbidden Planet draw inspiration from the rich and varied musical history of our species to dredge the depths of the subconscious, and to call upon the Monsters from the Id. With an aural salad spanning neo-classical rock, grunge, jazz, ambient and all shades of metal, join Forbidden Planet as they journey into the unknown. Prepare for re-entry.

I noticed that both Beastwars albums only have one review:

http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Bea ... 3540328929

I've listened to both of these albums probably 50 times this year since discovering them a few months back, no joke. IMO they are the heaviest and best stoner/sludge band I've ever heard. I'd like to hear some more reviewers opinions on them, especially veterans like autothrall and others.

Their sound is so goddamn heavy, towering riffs that rise like an asteroid induced wave and crash like a head on collision. Their sound is extremely bass heavy, bass guitar but also just bass sound. Everything is so downtuned-more than I've ever heard anywhere else. These guys are going to be huge soon they are already blowing up and their merch makes an appearance in the Deathgasm movie.

Live show for seated people(wtf? lol)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Uxv-VJIKak

OBEY THE RIFF! as beastwars says. I find myself cranking the shit out of beastwars, whether in the car or with my headphones.
