Hi! I would like to see a review for my one man project Dysphorian Breed with the album "The Longing for the Tides of Metamorphosis". It's death doom with some funeral and sludge influences.

Bandcamp:
http://dysphorian.bandcamp.com

Encyclopaedia Metallum:
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Dysphorian_Breed

Free download credits are running out, but I can send download codes upon request. It also seems that the album has spread to some less legitimate sources, so if you feel courageous just google. :)

Cheers!

Hi there,

Would anyone be interested in doing a review of my band Vathek's EP "Apocalyptic Pandemic"? We are a 4 piece death metal band out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. We have the entire EP streaming on our BandCamp page, as well as a single we recorded earlier this year.

BandCamp:
http://vathek.bandcamp.com

Metal Archives:
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Vathek/3540372450

Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/vathekmetal

Thanks in advance to any potential reviewer.

???

OH, score modifying? Yeah, you may have noticed I did that with all my reviews. I start to feel that I wanted the words to speak more, and mean more, and truly start to think that 80 or above is a kick-ass thing - rather than having my median be 90...make sense? I shifted some older reviews down 5 or 10 points to drive the purpose home. It's not like I changed my stance :O

Hraffe abd DG, I'm on it.

That's what I figured but I wanted to inquire anyway. I used to write reviews and it did feel a little redundant writing "This is my favorite album of all time" repetitively. They can't all be the best thing ever.

@hells_unicorn.

Hey man I really like the 90's death/thrash reviews you are doing. Have you checked on Dreaming With The Dead and Enjoy The Violence? I am personally more fond of the first but the latter definitely needs more reviews.

Hi, I would be interested in >sharing< a review or two relating to one of my albums.

amid

To Aphrodite, raw black metal
the lyrics are purely the Homeric hymn to Aphrodite
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Jo ... ite/404682

Monetized Pagan Gods IV, noise / black
The lyrics are available on M-A
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Jo ... _IV/402869

or Ishtar's descent to the Neitherworld II. noise
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Jo ... _II/411202
where the words are the original ancient Babylonian narrating the descent of Ishtar to the underworld

Each album is available on bandcamp for free.

And I would be pleased for any thanks to discover your band by developing for you a review worthy of thy name.

Thanks, Jose

This is probably very plebeian of me, and I know I should just write one myself, but could we get a review on Northern Oak's recent album 'Of Roots and Flesh.'

It's not my album or anything, I just think it sort of deserves a review.

Hey guys,
I'm from the band Dargolf Metzgore.
Would somebody like to Review our new album 'The Path to Madness'?
It's melodic Death Metal, with slight Black Metal influences and 80s Guitar solos.
If so I'd send you a link to our Dropbox, with the whole album and the Promomaterial.
Here is the first song

Hi! My name is Adrian, I play in a metal band from Norway called Rovdyr (Norwegian word for predator). We just released our first full-length album called "From Nothing To No One"! It has been well recieved and was hoping someone could review it here ! :)

Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/RovdyrBand?fref=ts
Spotify: http://open.spotify.com/artist/5G18gfVMj2M0DoOlSG4Uuy

I can also send the album as mp3 files through WeTransfer if that is better! Just email me on [email protected] and I'll fix it! Thank you so much in advance! :)

Yo Bastard, I was just reading through your Unbound review and I saw you mentioning some death/thrash classics/masterpieces you wanted to review, you still planning to do that, even though it's been 4 years ago...?

I'm really wondering what you feel of albums such as Revenant's Prophecies Of A Dying World, which is simply one of the best death/thrash albums ever imo, and more reviews are always welcome because it currently only has 3 (c'mon people you're not that stupid are ya?).

Asking other people to review things you've just reviewed in order to validate your own opinion, then calling them stupid in that very same sentence. Classy stuff.

Nah, don't plan on it. It's a hard style to write about. Basically the catch-all is that if you find an album like that, chances are my opinion is "I like it".

I'm looking for someone to review my instrumental brutal death debut EP, Thoren. Any honest reviews are massively helpful! Thank you.

https://thoren.bandcamp.com/album/thoren

http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Thoren/3540389391

Here are some nice things people have said so far.

"man so fucking good" - Adrian Cappelletti (Involuntary Convulsion)

"I am aware of Thoren, killer stuff! Wanted to buy it soon" - John Strieder (Coma Cluster Void)

"It sounds brutal!" - Per Nilsson (Scar Symmetry)

"Very cool stuff, Anthony. Thanks for sharing" - Marlon (Abhorrent)

"checking it out right now, this sounds really cool!
production is awesome too, colin is the best" - Oleg Zalman (Artificial Brain, Severed Savior)

"diggin' it! nice work." -Kevin Hufnagel (Dysrhythmia, Gorguts)

"Love how you use dissonance to create different atmospheres. Beautiful." - Ron Thal aka Bumblefoot (Guns and Roses)

"i like your compositional style a lot" and "this is very cool stuff" - Andrew Hock (Castevet, Psalm Zero, Disparish)

"I'm soloing on track 5. Was happy to provide some ripping to this behemoth." - Bryan Baker in regards to his guest solo on the track Cirith Ungol

"Hey Anthony, sounds great. Haven't been listening to a ton of metal recently, but this hits the spot. Well thought out, well performed, and totally memorable. Thanks for sharing! I think the drum programming sounds excellent..." - Charlie Werber (Murmur)

"Thoren is a little more my usual style, I definitely hear some of that jagged, dissonant death metal in there. Kind of Gorguts but with a personality its own, and a bit more brutal at times. I especially like the last part of the song starting at 4:05 where you get really abstract and throw in the Demilich riff - well done!" - Will Smith talking about the track Shelob (Artificial Brain, Buckshot Facelift)

https://deathlord.bandcamp.com/album/thronelord someone up to review this album? very small limited taperelease, probably some more next year, kind of depends.
Its genderdysforia fueled frustration filled deathmetal, with short fast n loud influences.
