Sure. Send it to me on CD, and you'll see a grown man scattering ash on his skin, flagellating himself, lamenting, and begging forgiveness. And disowning his relatives, youth, opinions and ideals.

It will need to be an original CD, though.

I would like to request a review for Comitatus - Manipulate Demo. The three track demo can be listened to on the bands myspace page (see my signature). Thanks in advance!

I'm not a mod or a prolific reviewer, but come on. If you want someone to actually review your (or someone's) demo, at least provide mp3s if you can't spring for a physical release. I think I speak for almost everyone when I say that no one wants to listen to stuff from MySpace for reviewing purposes. It's bad enough to actually have to surf those pages and listen to new songs from bands from the woefully poor players, but to sit through a whole demo numerous times so you can review it? No, thank you. I've got better uses for my time.

Haha. You are right, forgive my laziness. If there are any volunteers you could leave a message here of leave me a PM with your e-mail or address, then I could send you either high-quality mp3 or a physical copy of the demo.

I plan to do their 3-streak massacre albums - HWILT, LCR, and TAOR.

I've never heard the album. Once I see it in a bargain bin, I might pick it up. Not my cup of tea, probably.

Okay, I haven't written regularly in ages, but this is what I'll do. For one time only, I'm gonna take a suggestion. Literally the first album mentioned in response to this is what I'll do, and have it up within a week. I need to see if I can keep my chops up. GO.

Merciless need more reviews for their "other" albums, only "The Awakening" has a number of reviews, the rest seems to be largely ignored. So, my suggestion is that you write a review for "Unbound" or the self-titled.

There, just submitted one for Unbound. Not even close to my best work. Like I mention in the review, that particular style, despite being a personal favorite, is nigh impossible to write about for me. I just don't think I write very well when I feel obliged to do so (probably the main reason I stopped reviewing for MC). Oh well, it was an experiment, I just want to pick up my pace a bit. I think I'll stick with the "rare but up to my personal standards" thing I've been doing for the past two years.

A condescending comment about a subjective taste in an obscure style perceived as the absolute determinant of one's intelligence and comprehensive ability, that's exactly the kind of factual accuracy I enjoy gleaning from these forums.

If even I am able to easily discern that a given remark was made in harmless jest, it means that a sentient lifeform's failure in correctly interpreting said remark must be either symptomatic of a cataclysmic neurological defect (which would probably preclude the capacity to feed and dress oneself, let alone posting a message on a message board...) or an effete propensity for idly haranguing the droves of filthy ignorant commoners about their relative lack of evolutionary prowess in respect to oneself.

Of course, as an intellectual, you are no doubt aware of the brutally simple fact that it is not always the most cognitively gifted creature that occupies the upper rungs of the food chain.
