Dear MA staff,

I hope this thread is an okay way to report this, I couldn't think of anything else.

After years of practically never having to log in manually, for the past couple of weeks it's been almost constant. Whenever I go to the site (or the forum, for that matter), I'm just a guest by default now. What's more, even after clicking on "Login" and ticking the "Log me in automatically" box again, I typically only stay logged-in for a few minutes, and then I have to log back in. I even got disconnected on the fly from the forum, today. I was logged-in, typed a reply to a thread (which took me maybe 5 minutes), and then upon clicking on "Submit", I ended up on the "Log in" page again. :(

Is it just me or did something change, maybe cookie or some other setting? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The forum software hasn't changed, so it's probably you, your browser or cookie settings.

Good to know. I suspected it might have been MA's settings specifically, because auto-login still works for me on other forums. I'll look further into my browser and cookie settings, then. Thanks for your reply.
