I'm just curious as to if the band I submitted (Angel Vivaldi) is going to be accepted or rejected soon. I know obviously the mods are busy and that's cool, I'm just a bit confused because it seems like there are bands getting accepted pretty frequently that were submitted after mine and the list hasn't moved much. Is that band queue handled from top to bottom, or just at random? If I'm way off feel free to correct me

Mods have their own discretion as to which band(s) they look at. Most likely genres they themselves are fond of. Patience.

The less ambiguous the genre/samples offered, and the most complete the info (evidence of release etc.), the faster bands get approved. Sometimes we don't want to trudge through borderline djenty deathcore or "neoclassical" jazzy wanking and postpone it til later. :P

you can debate the actual date that metal began, but a fairly agreed upon date is 1969. Metal is almost 25 years old

Why Iron maiden is there? It's very far to be metal than a lot of some metal band.

Yeah that's understandable. Thanks for the info!
