Topic.

Where is the line or duration drawn between a healthy bump and thread necromancy? What does the long passage of time have to do with whether or not the poster adds anything weighty? Maybe they just want to rev it up again (assuming it's not a time sensitive topic). Examples below..

The above examples were posted after a few weeks had gone by. The first example didn't say anything else and the second one did add links and further discussion which I left out; yet in the Tavern there is a thread about foreign language learning that was recently locked after someone resurrected it from the hibernation. Could you please re-open it?

Locking threads is subjective, It depends on the subject, the new post and the age of the thread. Next time, PM the mod who locked the thread if you want it reopened. If you're gonna post something of quality in it, I wouldn't mind.
