Why was it locked?

You can always send the mod who locked the thread a PM, in this case, me.

But the reason the thread was closed was because it was lame and mediocre and couldn't lead to any pertinent discussions. It was simply bashing of the mainstream bands covered by Revolver (which is far from being a metal magazine). The subject was just not a fit for the forums, the Metal Discussion in particular and I didn't think highly enough of its subject to move it to the Tavern.

If another mod disagrees with my decision, I wouldn't mind. But for now, the thread is closed, so is this one.
