I really wish there was more tabs in band pages. Like, having a tab for band tour, dates and everything could be super cool. You open the tab and you could see upcoming dates, previous dates etc... This would be so fucking cool.

I've been asking for this a few years ago, but having a "gallery" tab would be really cool as well, filtered by dates. So you could have picture of each different line-up the band had, different logos etc... I think about any band, but when you think about some of them that have been active for 40 years, one picture to represent them is just not enough. Thinking of Metallica, and big bands like this that had many different (cult) members throughout their career. I know this wouldn't be so easily done, but I really wish there was more updates like this... Just dreaming!

I think these are very good ideas that would make the encyclopedia even more complete. The photo gallery has been suggested before, I don't know how much work is required to implement it. I definitely like the idea of having tour dates, that would be very useful.

The gallery wouldn't have to (and shouldn't) turn our site into Instagram, but I think the OP's point stands that if one photo is not always enough to represent some bands especially those with a long history full of line-up changes, we can allow multiple photos without it necessarily affecting the site's credibility as being purely an encyclopedia. Maybe set a limit to 4 photos per band or something. I think tour dates is encyclopedic information and the tab would be very useful for us as users of the site.

I still think these are good ideas but ultimately it's up to the site owners.

It really wasn't about making the archive like Instagram. I was thinking more about showing several periods with different line-ups over the years. It is certain that if we allow several images to be posted, some people will not hesitate to show themselves from all angles. I was also thinking of possibly doing this for the artist pages. For those who have aged over decades to see the change over time. Same for the logos, Immortal clearly had 2 distinct logos, each as important as the other for example.

We talk about an encyclopedia, but I find that there are always things missing from the archives. Without going so far as to add unnecessary information, upcoming and past concert dates would be interesting information. If only to find out if a band has already played near you. There are lots of other little things like that that I would like to see more developed, but it's not that important and I must be the only one to see the interest haha.
