My report (https://www.metal-archives.com/report/view/id/864028) was closed by the moderator Derigin, with no real explanation. In my opinion. the themes should be changed from "War, Terrorism, Aryanism, Islamophobia" (incorrect and accusatory) to: "Anti-Abrahamic religions, Nationalism, Theosophy, Thelema, History, Anti-Islam" (significantly more accurate, based on published lyrics and this interview: https://lordsofthenightrealm.wordpress. ... ew-avitas/).

1. The band is anti-Abrahamic, not just "Islamophobic" or anti-Islam. Anti-religious songs include "Destructive Properties of Organized Religion", "Atheist Until Proven Otherwise", "Satan Delights in the Darkness and Blackness, Which Are Opposite to the Whiteness and Light That Please Heaven", and more.

According to the interview (https://lordsofthenightrealm.wordpress. ... ew-avitas/):
"Of course, Avitas has always maintained the psychological war on the Abrahamic faiths since the very beginning".
"If someone stands against the Abrahamic faiths and their rabid followers, or the New World Order for that matter, they are my ally no matter their origin".
"We are all on the same side of this essential struggle against the Abrahamic slave cults".

2. The band is nationalistic, but not Nazi (no "Aryanism").

According to the interview (https://lordsofthenightrealm.wordpress. ... ew-avitas/):
"I have been incorrectly labeled by some narrow minded individuals as NSBM, which obviously is not the case if you take any time to listen to the music and lyrics, not just read titles like 'Magickal Rites from the Ancient Aryan Tomes' and assume that I am a Nazi, when anyone with some time to research will realize that song is about the Vedic and Ancient Aryan books that H.P.B. and Crowley referred to, and their voyages to the legendary great library in the Himalayas. I have had two Great Uncles fight and die for Canada in World War 1, and both my Grandfathers fought for Canada and USA respectively in World War 2, and I am a proud Scandinavian/Irish Canadian who fights (in a far less important way than they did) for the same values of free speech and personal freedom that they fought for. My music has tackled World War Two and National Socialism in the past, but I do not condone any genocidal views or condemning someone because of their race".

Some of the band's songs also deal with history and war from a pro-nationalistic view. This could contribute to the false accusation of the band being "NSBM". The song "The Future I See" is an example of the band taking a pro-nationalistic and anti-religious stance, without being racist:
"Many great nations
divided but allied
Each country its own master
Good fences, good neighbours"

"A time of science and reason
of diversity and freedom
chosen by independent nations,
not one world government"

3. Theosophy and Thelema

According to the interview (https://lordsofthenightrealm.wordpress. ... ew-avitas/):
"Avitas has always had a pretty broad range of song topics, but currently Avitas is focusing more on hidden knowledge and histories, mostly by reading firsthand from my growing collection of old occult books. There is an excellent bookstore in Vancouver that has a great esoteric section, and the owner is kind enough to save the good ones for me that come in. There are not really many other people interested in say, an original copy of Aleister Crowley’s 'Olla' or a collection of essays by Helena Blavatsky in my region, but I am. There are some other lesser known occult books that offer some interesting ideas as well, and I would say one of the main lyrical influences on this album was 'The Secret Doctrine' by Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society. The version I have is a six volume set from 1937 and contains many footnotes and updates, and I find the ideas like Root Races and the true origins of the species to be very inspiring. The Thelemic books of Crowley have been an influence as well over the last few years. 'Raincoast Necromancer (Brother XII)' relays the tale of Edward Arthur Wilson, known in Theosophic circles as 'Brother Twelve.' He formed an ill-fated offshoot cult off the coast of British Columbia before destroying his commune and disappearing with all of the gold back to Europe. If you get a spare moment read about his story, it is rumoured he had psychic powers that he displayed in court, and he had a deep knowledge of black magic and the occult".
