Bomb Everything/Bomb Disneyland:

Influences: Killing Joke, New Model Army, GBH, Bad Brains.

Sounds mostly like Killing Joke - deleted.

Also Chyld - hard rock/progressive rock

I've removed Svartrit. The CD in Drakkar Prod. shop is the version released by ElitMusik/Turannum (even the description says it), and it is considered bootleg by the band (see the blog on their myspace page). The official version should be released by Mystery of Death Prod., but it's not out yet. So the band can be resubmitted when the official version will be released (the proof should be the info on the band's or label's site, not the links to some other distros that may carry the bootleg version).

Hi guys,
I've noticed that: I think this band http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3540314111 should be merged into this http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=77372 , also because the new album is recorded as "Vitaly".

Bye!!

I have a complaint about this band

http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php? ... 74ec726928

I'm from the same city where they play and I've not notice about a physical release of their "Demo" All I know those are mp3's from their Myspace page.

The album has not been released yet. They're searching for labels to release it.

Hi,
Recently, i have been in contact with Timo Hautamäki, the keyboardist of Lapis Lazuli. However, somehow i asked him about his solo project Helvetica,
and surprisingly he told me that he never released anything, and basically he never released the "satanic release" demo tape.
Here is some of his quotes:
Quote:
Helvetica was a band me and Tobias started with to other friends back when we were 13, we were all beginners, and luckely we did not release anything.

Quote:
I would guess that the tape was made by another band with the same name, It's released in 1990 which would make us 4 years old, hehe.

I think this band should be deleted. Although, since it was added by Drowned, i reckon he might shed some light on this, im not sure where he found the tape and these infos!!
Thanks.

It looks like different band. The release clearly exists, see here for example:
http://lockjaw-yappy.blogspot.com/2009/ ... -1990.html
but it's obviously not the same Helvetica Timo Hautamäki played in, so the line-up is wrong and should be fixed.

Yes indeed. That's what i thought of.
However, i will remove Timo Hautamäki from the line-up.

Vexatus should be removed
http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3540314990
The label says that the release date shall be on 20 October.
So i think still couple of weeks for an eligible entrance here.
check here: http://www.redrum666.net/index2.php?lang=en&label=rm (scroll down-Fifth band)

Do we have evidence that any of this stuff exists in the wild in any considerable number? There is one picture of a CD case, but no link or reference to a label and such.

Deleted Thulsa Doom - stoner rock and on an idependent label, so not an acceptable side project.

http://solar-funeral.tripod.com/blackdovenoise.html
Black Dove - crust with only minimal (doom) metal elements.

Hi Witcher, I find this to be more core oriented than metal:

http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=96223

Listen:

http://www.myspace.com/hauntedshores

Sorry if this was brought up before, I suck at the search function.

This band should be removed:

http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3540311004

It is already on here: http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3540280692

When I submitted it, I thought they were two different bands. Today, I noticed someone had added the information from the other band to the page which made me go looking to see if they were different. I found this: http://www.myspace.com/lordgorlim/photos/23894387

Sorry about that.

"Black Dove - crust with only minimal (doom) metal elements."

black dove isn't a crust band, deleting them is just being snobish.

They are, the even name their influences. This database is for predominantly metal bands and Black Dove is not one. Besides that, learn how to behave, insults will not help you here, they can only lead to a ban in more extreme cases. Stay civil when you ask, not accusatory or insultive.

This band: http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3540315793

The person who submitted the band is the infamous Zitadelle. He used to submit bands in this manner (only source of physical release is a picture) with faked releases. I would be very wary at trusting this person. He has been banned from here twice:

http://metal-archives.com/userprofile.p ... =Zitadelle
http://www.metal-archives.com/userprofi ... round_usch

I'm not saying it should be deleted, but its validity should be questioned.

Recently accepted band Lamentations (USA) should be removed for not having any physical release. The 1-track promo is an internet download song.

two things:
1 : wrong thread
2 : do not ask whether band X or Y would meet the criteria.

-> Use the search function and/or try to submit the band. Make sue to activate the e-mail notification, because in case your band is rejected you will get a mail with the reasons in it.
