Why was The Merciless Concept blacklisted? They don't seem to be that hardcore influenced, and they have a CD out.

The blacklist says "more core than metal"

^ seriously dude, you really want us to fall for that physical evidence? Then at least make a hole in the middle of the cd, so it actually looks like a genuine cd that will play on cd players.

Also, the "distribution" links you provided mostly direct to blogspots where to DOWNLOAD the ep. Not one of them proves what we ask from you.

Hello Helvede, I just chatted with Devormity on Facebook, and finally I found the photo of CD. Sorry I can't go to "Hellprint" concert tour in real life to get Devormity CD. Here's the photo:
Image

Is it correct photo right?

And the weird is: elfstone321 submitted Indonesian bands, Devormity and Humiliation. Devormity is blacklisted right? Luckily I have a photo CD, can you may remove from blacklisted? And elfstone321 do "cheat"/"steal" Indonesian bands (sorry for talking about that), I see in band queue is "Devormiti". The correct is Devormity, not Devormiti. I know it's looks like elfstone321 do "cheat" that, so I chatted with Devormity, then I got a photo. Now it's time to remove from blacklisted? Thanks!

This band originally submitted by Lavey Pewthers.

Could Babymetal be added to MA?

They released a metal song recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GErGfHjHQ0

...and it has a physical release: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=JOBR-1003#

I don't know if this would count because the band have quite a few non-metal hard rock/nu-metal songs as well.

I hate you. :P

Anywho, singles are not enough. Has to be a full-length or at least something more concrete and consistent than a single. Especially considering the output of this band to date.

Fine, I'll come back when they've released *two* metal singles. ;)

I'd rather you didn't. As I said, ideally a full-length, and in this case I'd say also obligatory.

I was trying to be sarcastic. :oh shit: Anyways, understood - predominantly metal full-length release.

Everyone's big in Japan. If I remember correctly, Japanese people tend to be short.

Well, maybe I'm not big in Japan, since I'm actually short.

Guys, just wondering: why the brutal death metal band from North Korea "Red War" was rejected? No physical release? It's almost fantastic... North! Korea!

There was insufficient evidence for the tape release and it is doubtful whether it ever happened.

Why was the Chinese band Delirious blacklisted and was this done before or after their full-length came out? They're obviously grindcore but as they sound like a cross between Repulsion and Nasum, both included in the Archives, I'd say there's reason to have them on here.

Just a question: the band Eths was blacklisted for beign Nu Metal, and that's true. The last album was released via Season of Mist and it is not Nu Metal, but Metalcore with some Death/Groove Metal and Melodic/Clean parts, still not metal enough for the site?

Heksabort was rejected because of "no evidence of a physical release", is this pic evidence enough?

Sure, approved. You already included it when you resubmitted, so no need for posting this here.

My band GLOOMLURKER has been rejected twice due to lack of physical evidence.

I put 2-3 photos of the physical copy of the EP in the submission notes and it still gets rejected. We're a poor band so we cannot afford to make fancy booklets or covers, but it has a CD label and album art both sides of the case.

Advice?

Where? I couldn't find anything like that in the submission notes, only a link to your Youtube channel.

Zahrady Ticha has been blacklisted and I don't know why.

- It's a metal band:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRguxRkOiEE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbLJBEBe ... re=related

- It's a real band:

http://bandzone.cz/zahradyticha?at=info
http://www.lastfm.es/music/Zahrady+Ticha

- The band has released three demos. One of that in Black Orchid Productions:

That's ambient with SOME black metal touches.

Zahrady Ticha is a side project of Trist, so I think that it might be accepted.
I don't notice any musical difference with Life is Pain, o even Trist.

Also, some songs are more ambient than another ones, check "Kavarna..." for example.

I checked the two songs you posted and it wasn't metal. The sideproject rule doesn't always apply, it's subjective.

Trist is a band with a considerable importance in the DSBM, and I think that his side-project Zahrady Ticha (which has a sound totally in the vein of Trist) should be accepted in M-A like Life is Pain for example. The only diference between Life is Pain and Zahrady Ticha is that in Z-T there're no vocals I guess.
Also, in Zahrady Ticha participated another "big" DSBM european artist: Nachtzeit, as drummer.

Hi,
In reference to the following rejection of the band Genocide Shrines by Azmodes, Encyclopaedia Metallum, I made a mistake on the date of release. The date of release was indeed on 7th July and not 10th July so the website links are right...It was an oversight on my side! Sorry about that and pls accept my submission. Pls find the reference of the email below...

Encyclopaedia Metallum [email protected]

to me

This is an automatic email notification. Do not reply to this email.
Sorry Cyclopean Eye Productions, Encyclopaedia Metallum was forced to reject your submission for the band Genocide Shrines (Sri Lanka), for the following reason:
So is the CD out or not? One link says July 7th, you entered July 10th.
If you want to object to this rejection, please do so in the appropriate thread in the Suggestions and Complaints sub-forum. Do not e-mail moderators directly about this.
Sincerely,
- Azmodes, Encyclopaedia Metallum

Currently, you can't. Your rank isn't high enough. Just click on the "report an error" button on the page and include a link to the new pic in the report. Also for future errors or updates.

For now, if you want, you can just email me the image and I'll take care of it.
