After a four-year wait, and celebrating the act’s ten-year mark in 2013, the newest works from THE RUINS OF BEVERAST are nearing public availability with the pending release of Blood Vaults -- The Blazing Gospel Of Heinrich Kramer (Cryptae Sanguinum -- Evangelium Flagrans Henrici Institoris).

It also says it on the Van youtube page:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7Jn27QEvmQ

The Facebook page, run by the label, had several different spellings, so they obviously don't care much about being exact. If I interpret your post correctly, the promo also has two different spellings. Official release is the best source in this case, and I think the screenshots Amoebic_D posted are from that?

I'll try to clean up his mess using his modification history, if you know of any more pages he "prettified", please post them here.

From this report, I see that this idiot clearly wants to be banned. Check his modification history (Unherz has already cleaned up after him though).

What a mess ...

T.T. Drums, Guitars, Vocals, Drums, Guitars, Bass, Keyboards
P.K. Guitars, Keyboards, Guitars, Bass, Keyboards

Can you ban the little cunt who added false line-up here (I checked his history and it's not the 1st time he adds wrong line-ups)

Doesn't seem very ban-worthy, so I'll try the nice way first. In other words, messaged.

BlackenedZeroth: why are you adding lineups without knowing? Pretty sure the lineup for Severe Storm/Slavecrushing Tyrany is printed on the CD - hence no reason for Njord to be 'unknown'...

http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Sl ... ood/361415

EDIT: also is changing capitalization for roles allowed?
Field Old value New value
Role description All Instruments, Vocals All instruments, Vocals

see, Cross of Iron history

"Unknown" was not added by me, it was added by Totalhate68686. (http://www.metal-archives.com/history/v ... ter/lineup).
Correcting proper capitalization is allowed.

In addition to what Zeroth said, you could always add the info yourself, or make a report about it, especially when it says unknown, since not every user has access to every release. We even have Njord listed as unknown on the main band page itself, meaning that our info is lacking.

Can you get rid off or strongly warn user "Akinfeev35" for adding random and wrong line-ups for albums

Easy to get a veteran status by adding tons of line-up without checking his sources

http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Impulse/3540370341

Here he added all members to the album which is wrong, for proof the bio in dutch

http://ongekendtalent.nl/band/impulse-d ... -the-faith

The band started as a cover band by 3 members etc

"De drum werd opgenomen door de drummer van de coverband destijds": the drums for the album were recorded by the drummer of the cover band".

"Om de muziek live te kunnen spelen zijn wij opzoek gegaan naar bandleden. Uiteindelijk hebben Richard de Gans (gitaar), Bram de Koning (toetsen), Jeroen Terhoeve (akoestische gitaar) en Lars van Es (drum) zich bij ons gevoegd."

In order to play live we searched for musicians and finally added Richard de Gans (guitars), Bram de Koning (keys), Jeroen Terhoeve (acoustic guitars) and Lars van Es (drums)

So at least Lars van Es and Bram de Koning did not play on the album (pics of them recording cant be seen in their photos btw)

I'm just tired of people adding fake line-ups :fuck:

http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/He ... sse/388557

i'll be annoying again surely but can you ask Gelordum what are his sources for the bassist on this album?

I added 2 missing bassists based on what they posted on their FB Wall

https://www.facebook.com/notes/hecate-b ... 2093213244

Entony left in november 2010 and Christophe joined so I HIGHLY doubt Jérémy Bayon played bass on the demo if released in may 2010 ...and I did not read anywhere that he eventually was their 1st bassist before leaving and coming back later

Zorg85, line-up from the demo was removed. Maybe I was wrong with that, need someone to contact these guys and clarify it. I've read only their description on FB, not the wall. But line-up for the full-length must be correct.

Also, you could contact me without snitching on the forum. Let it remain on your conscience.

Also, you and everyone else, please don't add track lengths for separate tracks based on online samples, add track lengths only if you have the whole album (be it download or actual physical release). Otherwise it's useless and incomplete info, especially considering the fact that in this case total release duration will be wrong. It's especially true for upcoming releases, it's not that hard to wait until the whole release will be available for download or someone will add the lengths from his own copy.

I don't know whether the same guy who submitted this band deliberately or accidentally added superfluous amount of the upcoming EP. Either way this needs to be checked.

^ First two were added one second apart, so that was probably a double click. Dunno what's with the third one, the cover art is slightly different. All of those have to go though, they're upcoming releases without the exact release date.

Well the links he's adding are related to the bands, and according to these rules they seem like valid ones.

Also from here:
Quote:
You can enter as many links as you want, but don't spam with irrelevant links: make sure you follow the rules.

So from those, I guess what he's doing is fine. But it's not my decision. :P

couldn't agree more. it's baffling, frustrating, and earns some people a lot of points...

I'd like to put the motion forward that anyone caught adding random line-ups has to sing a korn or nickelback song and up it on youtube.

Apparently he's pissed because another, more complete and better formatted submission of the band was approved and not his. SRS BSNS

I'll send him a warning.

This asshole is correct. "Like" should be lowercase in some instances.

Azmodes, as you wish, but this is wrong:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia: ... ion_titles
http://musicbrainz.org/doc/Style/Language/English
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Basic_Book ... _in_Titles

I can't find here such capitalization rule.

"Like" is used as a preposition in those instances he changed. Prepositions with fewer than five letters should be lowercase. It's all in the links I posted.

Azmodes, okay, let it be. MusicBrainz, for example, accept lowercasing for short prepositions with three letters or less and with some 4-letter exceptions (but there is no word "like"). But Wiki sources accept all prepositions with four letter or less... whatever... your site - your rules, and you're choosing which sources are more correct :)

Yeah, MusicBrainz does that. This site tries to follow Wikipedia's guidelines in that regard, though. No doubt there are multiple standards and other sites do things differently. The Chicago Manual of Style and The MLA Style Manual are even saying all prepositions should be lowercase, regardless of length: http://grammar.about.com/od/tz/g/Title-Case.htm

Mind you, I don't care much either way. This is obviously a trivial matter. As an arbitrary prescriptive standard it's not about right or wrong, it's about having a widely used norm and sticking with it. Otherwise there's no point.

The point is also not to accuse someone of point-whoring and call them an asshole for reasons like this. Best to post here asking if that's okay or not first. ;)
