Any thoughts on Quiet Thunder's post from one of his many band pages?

I don't know much about this, but a quick look at some reports reveals that this guy added "Drum programming" to the lineup and then lied about doing so when he wanted it changed to "Drums". So this isn't exactly inspiring us to go along with his requests.

If I'm correct, he is talking about this report.

Unrelated, but I find it kind of pathetic that all of his split releases are just between two of his bands.

I would be pissed but his band page only has around 30 likes, most of them probably alternate accounts of his.

Yeah, he seems really persistent to make us add "Saxon lyre" to the roles even though I'm personally not hearing that in the music whatsoever. Interesting how he claims MA to be "well-known [as a] poor source" even though he bothers to go through all of this. Seems kind of counterintuitive. On top of that, he disables comments and ratings on all of his youtube videos, supposedly as to avoid any kind of criticism.

Also I think you're right about the page likes, Diamhea, considering I've seen him like posts with his own band pages, which is just really sad. It's like he constantly pats himself on his back and gets mad whenever something doesn't go the way he wants.

I was thinking the same thing. I mean, if he thinks this isn't a good website why would he care if the information (which half the time he adds, lol) is "inaccurate"?
With the YouTube videos, he probably doesn't need any kind of criticism on those, since he gets enough on his band pages, and reports.

It's unimpressive to me that the location of all his projects is given as "Mercia" when that territory hasn't existed since the 10th Century. That needs correcting.

I added an album line-up and removed it. Not that it's incorrect, but it isn't perfect, and one of the musicians may not belong on all tracks. My bad.

I doubt the credibility of his input, mainly the line-ups he's been adding.

I'm currently searching for south american bands that have no actual location listed, and specifically Venezuelan bands that have the word "Edo" because I don't think it's entirely necessary and It doesn't seem to fit the current form of bands listed. By this I mean most of the bands are listed as "Maracaibo, Zulia" and not "Maracaibo, Edo. Zulia"

I'm mentioning this because I don't want to be mistaken for a point whore and if you feel that what I'm doing isn't innecesary then I'll stop right away.

"Edo." Is short for "estado", which means state.

Yes, I'm aware of that. I was saying because most of the bands just list the state without using the "edo" and I thought It looked better if all bands had the same form. Guess it doesn't really matter.

Anyway, birthdates can be truncated if people ask us to, they're hardly vital information. I've removed the day and month. And if he absolutely insists on a more anonymous photo for the entry, that can be changed too, since we comply with image removal requests. Yeah, seems he acted like an asshole, but his initial requests weren't outlandish.

EDIT: k, I was out of the loop with this one; he was IP-banned, so I guess that's why it stopped. Stuff concerning birthdate and photo still stands, though.

Just changed the Suffocation photo into some pointless live photo with pretty much no way of recognizing the members. If anyone know what photo was used before, it'd be good to change back.

Just to be fair, this is the latest photo they've posted and probably the only one featuring the current line-up. Not the worst of his edits for sure.

That may actually clear him in that case, depending on the moderators preference of accuracy over recognizability. I usually pick up on a band like that changing members but missed it this time.

I'll reach out and ask him where he's getting the info from, but for what it's worth he's from Los Angeles and the artists he's adding such info to are also from Los Angeles. It's possible he knows them.

I believe this is a joint release that's been added a dozen times--one entry for each label. I can't find it online, so you probably need to verify with the idiot who's been adding them.
