only a warning? pfff he fucked up over 30 band pages

I bet Evenfiel should explain him how it works here (im not patient enough :D)

Either he's really stupid or he did it on purpose to get extra points. Sometimes he created 3 different entries for musicians for the albums :grumble:

nomoresorrow777 adds random line-ups for tons of bands. I saw he systematically adds all members for demos, albums, having no clue if members eventually joined afterwards....

I've checked the last band updated by him - Agro - and the lineups are consistent with the year range of each member in the band's lineup. I've sent him a message anyway. I've also sent a message to SurgicalButchers.

I don't place bans or detract points; that's Evenfiel's job. ;)

This user has been messing around with some of the LLN bands/artists/releases, some of the changes are legitimate, some are not. I'm uncertain about a lot of the changes as there's no official source to confirm info and the rumors seem to outnumber the verifiable.

Modified this artists name three times in the same day with different initials. He has previously edited the page to what is rumored to be the guy's real name, which was removed by a moderator, so there's really no need to randomly add inaccurate initials to the real name field.

Pointless change to credits that has since been reverted:
http://www.metal-archives.com/history/v ... e/id/40241

Changing "Untitled" tracks to "-" (not sure about the rules regarding this).

These are rather minor complaints. No need to send him a warning about them.

If you want to discuss his updates related to LLN, I suggest you send him a message.

http://www.metal-archives.com/users/Tudorungurean

As I was going through reports, I stumbled upon 2 demos by 2 different bands who had the CURRENT lineup added by the user I mention above.

The first one was the 2003 demo by Acta Sanctorum from Ecuador, in which he added all of the current musicians, including a guitarist who joined in 2008 and a singer who joined in 2011 (I already erased the lineup, since I was taking care of a report for that band), furthermore, according to an interview I found, the demo was recorded by a previous lineup (and before the band changed its name to Acta Sanctorum), so there's no way Tudorungurean can back his edits.

The second one is the only demo by Sekel from Puerto Rico. He added the last known lineup on that demo on Novermber 27th, ignoring (or not realizing that) a report was made in September 2nd about the actual lineup for that demo (and the real names for the band members). So, once again, there's no way he can back his edits.

I do not know about his other edits (made between November 25th and November 28th, and then again on December 13th), but still, someone should keep an eye on him.

Shouldn't it be specified in the rules in that adding random line-ups can get you banned? I know not everyone reads the rules, but, just maybe...

I've already asked for a warning to be added to the lineup section.

While it would be nice, it's worth noting that when editing line-ups, it clearly states at the top of the page that adding false line-ups is a bannable offense.

Oh, that's right. It was already added, though sometimes it doesn't appear.

Reporting myself, I added lyrics to Realms and Evolution's Album but was having trouble with the website logging me out when I try to post. I apologize, I will type the lyrics in my computer and copy paste from now on. I got five points when I think I'm supposed to have only one.(Honestly I dont give a shit about the points, I'm just trying to contribute to the archives.)

Can you tell "selfimmolator" to be less stupid or to stop contributing

1) for band Jotunblod: Manson the Dark Poet is also involved in 2 other bands: Noon, Unholy Children of Hellfire: he created 3 different entries for the same member (1/page) instead of merging ... not even able to read how it works

2) adding gender unknown for some people, sorry but you don't need to be a genius to know Sergey is a male ...

Sorry for the mix-up! I will not let it happen again, I always check for same artists' I want my contributions to be accurate. Again sry if I created some undue work for anyone!

Can a mod contact the following people

1) EvilArts: adds album line-ups when artists are not added in the line-up yet, he did it a couple of time and even changed some names so it creates double entries for artists if you do not check modifications history before entering them

ex: Summoner : Luca Ciusaniat => Luca only, same for keyboardist Stefano Magni. + added a female vocalist (Nadia) for the album who is missing in the former members in v1

2) HASHCLOUD: for the band Abaddon he added, he created a double entry for one of the members who played in Saevus under a different nickname (Kholddun), the info was in the artist profile... Teach him how to merge entries to avoid this...

He also changed the nicknames on several brazilian bands (saw that some months ago), if an artist changed his name or if last line-up is different than v1, he should enter the correct members (past members) to avoid confusion

3) artery: tell him to check his spelling and not use german in his submissions: startet instead of started, oktober instead of october

Same for artists profiles, he write

other Bands: either you add caps for both words Other Bands, or only for Other but not for bands only.

Moreover, he should not add a "s" to band when there is only one listed...

Same in the album notes, his sentences never start with a capital letter (recorded at ...)

thanks

You should also tell "defeder" not to create double entries for artists

Monolith (Ita), 2 artists were added in the line-up without their nicknames (Mad Max & Godzilla), while entering album line-up he created entries under Mad Max & Godzilla names instead of selecting the right members

Tell him he can use the (as .....) option

User "Kjetter" seems to be working his way through the alphabet adding unnecessary alternate spellings for bands usually involving adding/removing punctuation marks, ICS Vortex becomes "I.C.S. Vortex" for instance

...really? So I am not REMOVING unnecessary alternate spellings then? The only cases where I have entered anything at all is the few cases were I feel I deleted something that should have remained.
