It'd be nice if someone from the Higher Power Club asked Carpathianchrist not to add albums if he doesn't know the tracklist. I just took care of a report in which he mentioned the right tracklist for a release he added before, in which he just added one track, and as song title he wrote "album has eleven tracks".

Here it is.

Is it "MySpace" or "Myspace"? aeternus1990 has been correcting it to the latter in the band links, while I've always thought it was former.

Yes, I'm correcting it because I've always thought that "MySpace" was former. From Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myspace
"Myspace (previously styled as MySpace and My_____)".
Also: http://twitter.com/Myspace/ | http://www.facebook.com/Myspace
Also look at the top of your browser (upon the web address).
So we all shoud correct it to Myspace.

It's fine. Changing "Band @ MySpace" to "Myspace" or "MySpace" is okay, but please don't go around changing "MySpace" to "Myspace". Not worth the effort and it looks like very desperate pointwhoring.

MySpace has a Facebook page and a Twitter account? That's stupid. Well, thanks for clearing it up.

Yeah, sorry; but I did it just because I'm kinda grammar nazi (of my native language of course), and in Soviet Russia if you're a corrector and made one mistake - you'll be fired (there are some Soviet books you can see "special" page at the end where all the mistakes that were found after releasing are typed) and I've tried to make it so clear as if I was a publisher for Lenin/Kim Jong-il works :D

Guess people look for easier ways for promotion.

I didn't know where else to post this, but can someone check to see if I spelled the names right? I was adding the miscellaneous staff of Hangar's albums, and it was 20 minutes of agony no being able to copy and paste names.

BlackendZeroth is messing up correctly capitalized album titles (e.g. "Hell Is Empty, and All the Devils Are Here" to "Hell is Empty, and All the Devils are Here"; "Time Is No Friend" to "Time is no Friend").

If Bandcamp suddenly changes their logo's capitalisation to "BandCamp", that shouldn't warrant going back and updating every single link to accommodate the new capitalisation. Same with "MySpace"/"Myspace"/"My ", etc.

Seems like he's also adding random line-ups, too. Add that into his warning.

Just noticed some odd updates on cannibal corpse by a user called fibo.
http://www.metal-archives.com/history/v ... and/id/186

O_O

Is that legit?

EDIT:
His modification history shows changing song titles to the same titles and changing song lengths (eg. 3:21 to 3:22)

I don't see anything wrong with his updates. Where did he change song lengths? His latest modifications are adding disc notes (tracklists) to a boxed set, which is fine.

He's adjusting English song title capitalization. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm not courageous enough to check all his updates and clean all the shit he added -___-
