First of all, I searched all of the forums and didn't come up with anything resembling a questions for the mods thread, so I guess I have to open one. I'm also just guessing that this goes here. Sorry if there's somewhere else I should have posted it, or if there was another way to get this question answered, but it wasn't in the FAQ's.

If I look at my profile, my status is listed as 'Metal Newbie' with twenty points. But on the boards, I show up as 'Mallcore Kid' why is that?

Also, I think I accidentally submitted the lyrics for a song twice. I wrote a review for the CD and it was posted, but my lyrics still didn't show up after a day and a half, so I resubmitted them thinking that the first time was just a glitch and that they would appear immediately after I submitted them. They didn't show up the second time, so that was my bad. I wasn't point-whoring, I promise.

Anyway, sorry for clogging up the board, but I really didn't know where else to say this and pose that question.

The profile status display relates to your points. The forum title relates to your post count.

Because your forum status has nothing to do with your user status.

Question for mods thread is not needed, since you have everything you should know in the three Guidelines/Help/FAQ sections on the main page.
