I have a question. If X Japan started off as "X" and had numerous releases before changing their name to X Japan, wouldn't that mean X should be a separate band from X Japan? Just wondering. :)

No, those country tags in name do not constitute such reason (they added it because of a L.A. punk band X), same case with Viper Brazil. It was already discussed here some time ago.

Well what about Poison and Poison Arts? Name changed because of similarities with American Poison (that's always the case), but the country wasn't added. Grounds for a new submission, or is it easier to keep it as one?

I'm pretty sure Poison Arts were more of thrashy-hardcore in the vein of Lip Cream, so I don't think it'd count.
