On the Grave Digger page, I noticed that all the ex- demarkations in front of bands members (present and former) had been in were missing. I know they were there, and I seem to remember putting some in recently. I checked related bands like Running Wild, Rebellion, and Asgard, and the same thing was evident. My first thought was that there was a points whore deleting every ex- to get points, but all names of last update on each page were different. So...

Is there a new rule that we no longer can denote when members of bands used to be involved in other bands but are no more? If so, I think it's a stupid rule and makes MA less informative. I still think it could be a points whore, and it simply went unnoticed and the pages were updated since then.

I tried to replace as many ex- demarkations as I knew were correct. If it is a points whore, someone please check these pages again for accuracy since I don't really know which bands guys like Jorg Micheal are no longer involved in and which ones they are still working with. Thanks.

This ex-tags were only making things more confusing. Simple link is enough.

Alright, thanks for the link. A front page announcment would have been helpful though. I'll keep it in mind when adding bands.

Yeah, we're going more with which groups members had been affiliated with throughout a lifetime rather than distinguishing which band(s) the musician is currently in simply because we already have a 'current line-up' section that makes that pretty evident. If they're not in the band anymore, they'd be in the 'former/past members' slot. Plus I personally think ex- tags are ugly. So try to restrain yourselves from posting ex-tags.

I for one are with you as in I think that they were helpful, but they're too much effort to keep up.
