Hey guys, I just added the band Ataxia-F and the submission was accepted. When i look at their page though, it says it was submited by someone else 2 years ago? What is with that? I checked and made sure the band wasn't there before I added it.. Just looking for an explanation, because i got the acceptance email too...

The band was already in the database as Ataxia (Esp). It seems they use both names Ataxia and Ataxia.F:
http://www.ataxia-f.es/

"Bienvenidos a la web oficial de Ataxia", but the logo states Ataxia.F

I changed the name from Ataxia to Ataxia.F after your submission to avoid confusion and updated the page with new links.

You can add the new album if you have info.

Alright I was just curious, thnaks. It should have maybe told me what you just did in the email though, would have been a little less confusing. Maybe that is a good suggestion for any times this happens in the future.

The emails are automatic, the mods don't have time to personally mail each and every submitter. Not to mention most submitters just want the band in the archives, and don't care who props for doing it.

but maybe if the mods had 3 options when a band is submitted.
1 being reject
2 being accept
3 being already in the database

Then people would just get an automated email quickly outlining what has happened.

It's actually the case.
