i submitted my best friends band a couple monthe ago and just found out that it had been rejected. band name is GIDEON SMITH & THE DIXIE DAMNED. could someone please let me know why?

Because it is more southern/stoner rock than metal.

Often having been compared to ealy "Love" era Cult, Allman Bros, Doors, Skynyrd, Sabbath, Roky Erickson, Danzig, AC/DC, Circus Of Power, Zodiac Mindwarp, Raging Slab and Elvis Presley.
