i have been going trough all bands that are in here listed and now after site update i occure some problem. im now going trough at swedish bands and before it was: you click "bandname" (info comes out) and then press "return" and you are back where swedish bands are listed at same point where your current band is. but now when you click that "return" it automatically opens back for same listed site but it rolls itself at top of the page so when youre going trough bands that starts with L or K or what ever it really annoys to allways need to roll 1 km down to click next band of the list. PLEASE FIX IT SO I CAN FINISH MY DUTY! =) -thanks in advance?-

You use the Fx right? if so, Peterott has asked this question once and I have offered a solution for this problem in this thread:
http://www.metal-archives.com/board/vie ... hp?t=26141

You need to install small add-on to make it work right. This is not a bug on the MA, it is the Fx... THIS time it is NOT the programming of this site. :oh shit:

I use Firefox and don't have this problem. Firefox allows to open several pages in one window. When I'm on a long band page, I click on the mouse wheel to open the link in a new page but same window. To exit that page, just click on the title's page. I always use that, it's very useful.

Fixed.
I do it the same way as you do, but sometimes tabbed browsing is annyoing and I just follow the links, but without the extension the former position on the page is gone. I hope they fix this bug in Gran Paradiso, especially becaue the extension is not working 100% right. :(

I have it and installed it on several PCs and it worked with every one of them. Did you restart Firefox? And it says clearly on the website:
(Firefox 0.9-2.0.0.*), so it works with the 2.0.0.4...

In case you do not know how to install it. Download the *.xpi, open the extension manager and drag/drop it into the mirror... wait until the counter has dropped to zero and then install it. Restart Firefox.

In case you don't believe me:

Remember: This is extension might NOT (!!!) work every time... keep this in mind!

It is a problem with the Firefox that the users have to fix some of the bugs themselves (close-button if you know what I mean) and hope that future versions become less dependent on certain add-ons that make the use of the browser more comfortable. This extension is some sort of a hot-fix, but nothing that solves the problem entirely. I hope that in Gran Paradiso this problem is fixed because it is quite annyoing, especially because for the normal user there is no way to deal with this problem, but to install the add-on.

The microsoft software is causing the trouble and not the Fx. It is 'middle-SW' or interpreter of the hardware signals and the fix does not work for this case. Try to contact the author of this extension and ask him if you able to fix it in any way.
